I started my training as a dancer at The Loudoun School of Ballet, in Leesburg, Virginia under the direction of Maureen Miller, Sharon Mercke, and Lisa Startsman. I danced in the ballet company and jazz company from age 11-18. When I graduated high school, I set off to NYC to chase of the dream of being a professional dancer. I started my training at the Ailey School in the Independent Study Program to then recieve my certificate in dance from the Peridance Capezio Dance Center under the direction of Igal Perry and Marlena Wolfe in the Certificate Dance Program. Marlena Wolfe also awarded me the Wolfe Project Scholarship.
Robert Battle, Jessica Castro, Charissa Barton, Sidra Bell, Igal Perry, Cindy Salgato, Bryan Arias, Pascal Rekoert, Kevan Allen, Amy J. Gardner, Manuel Vignoulle, Enzo Celli, Marlena Wolfe, and Jesse Zaritt are just a few of the choreographers I have been blessed the opportunity to perform with. I have also performed for GMA: Live, the Dr.Oz Show, Revlon, Nike, MTV, NYFW, Postmodern Jukeboxx, Baby Yors, Brugal Rum, BIOglitz, Douglas Elliman Real Estate, and as a guest artist for XAOC Contemporary Ballet and IKADA Contemporary Ballet Company. I also performed with Experience Rebis in “Those Before Us” at Nolan Park on Governors Island in an audio immersive site specific work with collaboration of BOSE and the #boseframes. I have toured with AATMA and Mystic India: The World Tour under direction of Amit Shah, and assisted Sidra Bell of Sidra Bell Dance New York for several seasons as a creative assistant, producer, and creative collaborator.
I have also flourished in videography and editorial work as well working as house videographer for SANCHEZ KANE NYFW, production manager and videography/editorials for SBDNY, collaborator and assistant Videographer and Photographer for Cesar Brodderman Photography and assistant movement coach for Jenna Kyle’s TELL ME music video. Recently I am movement director and co-director for MIZO Productions and have collaborated with Kayla Farrish/Decent Structures Arts on an evening length production and currently in creative process for a short film. This work includes videography, editing, photography and dance!
Having newly stepped into the world of background acting, in fall 2018 I was given the opportunity to walk the sets of HBO’s The Deuce, Succession, The Code, The Marvelous Ms.Maisel and do stand-in/background for Love & HipHop. I have grown to consider myself a creative jack of trades and have put to work my decisive leadership and creative problem solving to work as a brand ambassador for events with CoCo Libre Coconut Water, Cambria Suites and Hotels, and for Target’s launch of the 2019 iBA NewFronts – Roundel. I am recently a new hire as a Creative Consumers® associate with Ideas To Go, Inc.— an innovation agency that works with Fortune 500 companies in ideation and concept development to incorporate the voice of the consumer.
